“American Dad!” is an Emmy-winning animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane, Mike Barker, and Matt Weitzman for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The show follows the misadventures of the Smith family, a dysfunctional family living in Langley Falls, Virginia. Stan Smith is a CIA agent, his wife Francine is a trophy wife, and their children are Hayley, a liberal college student, and Steve, a nerdy high school student. The show also features Roger the Alien, an extraterrestrial who has taken refuge with the Smith family.
“American Dad!” has been praised for its sharp writing, witty humor, and memorable characters. The show has been nominated for numerous awards, including 10 Primetime Emmy Awards, and has won three.
