DuckTales is an American animated television series produced by Walt Disney Television Animation. The series is a reboot of the 1987 series of the same name, which was itself based on the Scrooge McDuck comic books created by Carl Barks. The series follows the adventures of Scrooge McDuck, his nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie, and his grandnephew Webby Vanderquack. The series premiered on Disney XD on August 12, 2017, and has since aired on Disney Channel and Disney+.
The series has been praised for its humor, adventure, and characters. It has also been nominated for several awards, including the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Children’s Program.
