In this episode, Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) try to find a way to break the curse that is preventing them from being together. Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Katherine (Nina Dobrev) team up to find the moonstone, which is the key to breaking the curse. Meanwhile, Tyler (Michael Trevino) and Matt (Zach Roerig) try to figure out what is going on with Vicki (Kayla Ewell), who has become a vampire.
